Elron Ventures will invest in Addionics, which raised approximately $40 million in its Series B round, with participation from leading strategic investors such as GM Ventures and Deep Insight.

The investment in Addionics is part of Elron Ventures’ new investment strategy, which focuses on deep tech and defense tech alongside investments in companies at early growth stages.

Tel Aviv, Israel – December, 29, 2025 - Elron Ventures today announced a strategic investment in Addionics, the global leader in Smart Metals for next generation batteries. The investment supports Elron’s investment strategy focused on deep tech and defense tech at early growth stages. As part of the investment, Lisya Bahar Manoah, Chairperson of Elron Ventures, will join Addionics’ board of directors.

Elron’s investment strengthens Addionics’ position as a critical technology platform for the development of high performance, highly reliable batteries for mission-critical systems, joining a group of additional strategic investors in the company. In its previous Series B round, Addionics raised approximately $40 million with participation from leading strategic investors such as GM Ventures and Deep Insight, as well as additional strategic investors including Avery Dennison, Scania, Magna, Novelis, JX Nippon, and others.
